An Individual appointment is 50 minutes duration.
No, you don’t need a referral to see me, but if you want to claim the Medicare rebate of $89.65 you will need to obtain a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP.
Note: most GPs require a double session to create a Mental Health Care Plan.
You may have been found eligible to access treatment under the listed services below:
- Traffic Accident Commission (TAC)
- WorkSafe Victoria
- Victims of Crime Tribunal (VOCAT)
- National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
Once you obtain approval and a case number from one of these services you may contact me for a session time.
For each of the above, a gap fee is not charged.
Absolutely, if you have private health insurance with ‘extras’ cover that includes psychology services. Please contact your individual health insurance fund to determine your claim amounts available to you based on your type and level of cover.
*Please note a Medicare Rebate and Health Insurance Rebate cannot be claimed for the same session.
Weekday appointments – $210 ($113.05 after the Medicare rebate)
Saturday appointments – $220 ($123.05 after the Medicare rebate)
In fairness to others waiting to see me, if you are unable to make your scheduled appointment, a 24-hour notice is required to cancel any appointment.
If you do not provide 24-hours’ notice, I charge a cancellation fee equal to the appointment fee. Payment of any cancellation fee may be required prior to booking a subsequent appointment.
